Welcome to Chipin (Pty) Ltd (“Chipin”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the websites https://www.chipin.co.za/ and https://app.chipin.co.za/home (collectively, the “Service”). Your use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of these Terms along with our Privacy Policy.

- Voucher Redemption: The process where Chipin initiates the use of accumulated chips as payment credit towards a purchase, triggering a payment transaction.

By accessing or using Chipin, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (“Children”).
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Children under 13. If you become aware that a Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us immediately at info@chipin.co.za. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from Children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
Use of Services
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not use the platform to engage in fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.
Chipin facilitates voucher redemptions by initiating payment transactions using chips accrued on your account. However, actual payment processing and handling of sensitive payment information is done exclusively by a third-party payment provider. Chipin does not store or have access to your payment card or banking details and is not responsible for any issues related to payment processing.
Contributions and Purchases
When you contribute funds or make purchases via Chipin, you agree that these transactions are final.
Refunds and Cancellations
There are no refunds to contributions or purchases. Once a contribution is made, it is final and these funds cannot be withdrawn. Refunds, if any, related to purchases are handled solely between the merchant and the buyer. Chipin is not responsible for product quality, delivery, or merchant refund policies.
Fees
Users do not face any fees for using Chipin. All service fees are charged to merchants and do not affect user payments.
Intellectual Property
All content and materials on the platform are owned by Chipin or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior permission.
Limitation of Liability
Except where prohibited by law, Chipin shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Platform or its content. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Platform is to discontinue its use.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chipin and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your misuse of the Services.
Third-Party Links and Services
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Chipin. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
